In a bid to thwart any attempt by Barcelona and Real Madrid to sign Manchester United’s striker Marcus Rashford, his club is willing to triple his £75,000-per-week salary next season.
Rashford who is in a top form has been heavily rumoured to move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid next season, especially, after his club, Man United failed to qualify for the 2020 UEFA Champions League.
It does not help that Marcus Rashford halted talks with Manchester United over the weekend aimed at extending his contract. It is believed that Rashford desperately wants to feature in the Champion League, a dream which has become a stillbirth after Manchester United finished 6th in the Premier League, hence disqualifying the club from participating in the prestigious European league.
With the mouth-watering wage for England’s striker, it is left to see if Rashford will follow his mind and leave the club and head for Spain, or his pocket and see where Red Devils will head to next year under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
