

Back in the Gambia to start his term, following his stay and inauguration in Senegal after ex. President Yahya Jammeh refused to give up power in the wake of his election defeat, President Adama Barrow eventually named his cabinet.
While many applauded his cabinet choice, others argue that some of the appointed individuals lack the necessary qualifications to bring the much-needed quality changes to drive the economic locomotive engine to the right direction. The question is: Do the appointed cabinet members have the intelligence, capacity and the necessary experience to record meaningful achievement in the country? Where do you see the Gambia in the next 5 years?
