Real Madrid’s Zidane pins down six players for signings

Getting prepared for the 2019 season, the Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has pinned down six players he desperately wants to bring over to the club during this summer’s transfer period.

It is rumoured that the French coach has agreed with the club’s president Florentino Perez on the six signings.

The latest report has it that Mr Perez has agreed with Zidane to sign five more players in addition to Eden Hazard, the Chelsea talisman, who is said to be Real Madrid’s prime target. According to our sources, initially, 20 years-old French international Kylian Mbappé, who has scored 50 goals in 65 matches this season for Paris Saint-Germain was Zidane’s first target. However, it is believed that bringing the arguably the world most sensational young Attacking Midfielder to Real Madrid would mean spending millions on his transfer, as such, leaving the Spanish giant with little money to buy other players needed by the club. It is, therefore, revealed that Zidane agreed with the club chairman Perez to use the money meant for Mbappé’s transfer to rather, buy more players to strengthen the squad. With Mbappé out of the picture, the Belgian Eden Hazard comes on top of the Real’s wanted list. It is expected that Hazard will complete his transfer in a matter of days.

Five other players expected to move to Real Madrid are Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic, Paul Pogba of Manchester United, Getafe’s Djene, Lyon’s Ferland Mendy, Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, or  Christian Eriksen of Tottenham.

Having finished third behind Barcelona and Atlético Madrid in the Spanish League, as well as failed to win the 2018 Champions League, Real Madrid are aggressively trying to rebuild its squad to help them grab the European most prestigious cup next year. 2019 will prove whether the millions of dollars Real Madrid will spend on the players will indeed pay off.
