Food ““ especially good food- is the most important element that prolongs our lives. We simply cannot survive without food. What happens, however, when the same food we need to survive becomes a major threat to our lives? A harbinger of death? From that big tummy obstructing your shirt and quarrelling with buttons of your trouser, to becoming a laughing stock and victim of constant pest, your life has become miserable. So is your health. As we think of diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems etc, where do we draw the line between “good“ and “bad“ foods and what is the consumption limit to maintain a healthy living?
